Headlight Modulator (4/5) Sep 29, 2011 Jerry Martin Saskatoon Sa CA
I bought and installed this 2 years ago now and have had nothing but good results from it. Since it's been on, I've only one idiot turn left in front of me--and I believe he saw me. I've had many say that there's something wrong with my lights, but that they noticed me right away. I always operate it on the max setting. I would give it a 5 but it occasionally won't come on after starting the bike in the garage. Also, there's no indicator to the rider that it's modulating. I consider this the best safety addition that I've put on the bike

Have been considering the headlight modulator for several months, after having 3 events where cars pulled out in front of me, I decided to install the device.

It has been installed for 2 weeks, So far I have noticed more people checking out the flashing light, at least it is drawing attention to my bike.

on my last ride a friend of mine would not lead, He said people were paying more attention to my light. We also passed several police cars, they looked at the flashing light but continued on there way. I think it is a good investment.
Excellent! (4/5) Aug 11, 2007 Jose Amram Altamonte Springs Fl US
I do not give it 5 stars because I expected the modulation to occur between high and low beam; it will do one or the other, but works great and installed easily!

Great piece of kit everyone remarks on how effective it is, don't know if it is legal over here in England tho! Haven't been pulled over yet.

My Custom Dynamics headlight modulator is OK, but I had a few problems. ALL of my connections were soldered, and I mounted the module inside my headlight housing. Also mounted the sensor, in the headlight housing. I had a few intermittent problems at first. NO low beam? After switching my dimmer switch back and forth a few times, everything was OK. This has not happened now for awhile. Also, it seems too sensitive to light. It will stop modulating, just passing through shadows on the road. Also, I wish there were a way to have it start up in the lower mode, instead of having to bleep my horn twice, to get it there. I do have an air horn! All in all, it does what I got it for. People DO LOOK.
With my modulator, and my drag pipes, I don't think anyone can say they didn't see me coming!
